Submission Guidelines
Young Authors Publishing accepts submissions on a first-come, first-serve basis. We do not require authors to have an agent for submissions, and all proposals are considered fairly. Please see below for how to submit to each of our imprints.
What to Expect: Due to the number of submissions we receive, please allow at least 30 days for our team to review your submission and respond via email. If you have questions prior to submitting, please email our team for assistance. While our goal is to be as helpful as possible in this process, please note that we do not offer editorial feedback on rejected submissions.

Young Authors Publishing accepts proposals for culturally-relevant children's and young adult fiction and nonfiction titles written by diverse young writers under the age of 17. Examples include picture books, baby board books, and early chapter books. Stories should have diverse human characters and reflect young protagonists and/or youth-related topics.

Muse Books accepts proposals for culturally-relevant children's, young adult, and adult fiction and nonfiction titles written by diverse writers ages 18+. Examples include (but are not limited to) any children's titles, cookbooks, coffee table books, novels, anthologies, meditation cards, etc. All genres are welcome.
Submission packets should include an attached letter containing the book synopsis, page count, and intended audience, and the first ten pages of your manuscript. Please be sure to include an author bio.
